We are pleased to announce that our Vine Cliff Chardonnays and Cabernets Sauvignon will be the featured wines at a dinner on Thursday evening, August 30th at Viognier Restaurant atop the popular Draeger’s Market in San Mateo.
As part of Viognier’s Summer Series Wine Dinners, Vine Cliff wines will be paired with a menu created by Viognier Executive Chef RJ Subaba.
Chef Subaba is a Bay Area native who started his formal education at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. After graduation, he worked at Restaurant Meadowood under acclaimed Chef Joseph Humphrey. He then followed his mentor to open the Murray Circle at Cavallo Point.
After relocating to Silicon Valley, he worked as sous chef for Madera at Rosewood Resort and The Village Pub in Woodside before joining the team at Draeger’s to head up the kitchen at Viognier.
