One of the fun things we like to do is to take our wines on the road so we can get together with Vine Cliff fans closer to their home. On Wednesday, August 30th, we will be at Café Lafayette in Exeter for a wine dinner featuring Vine Cliff current releases and some library selections.
Café Lafayette’s story began more than 20 years ago in the town of Evian in the French Alps. Chef and owner, Fred Imbert, grew up there and dreamed of having his own restaurant. After a year in London working with seasoned chefs, he made the move to California. He has managed kitchens of all sizes ever since. In 2015, his dream was realized when he opened Café Lafayette in Exeter, California. He found the perfect town located in the San Joaquin Valley near the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, close to Visalia.
