Made exclusively with fruit from our twelve acre estate in the Carneros district, this vintage shows all the hallmarks of that renowned region - complex fruit and spice aromas, smooth, round texture and a long, elegant finish.
Aroma: Sweet peach, lime, grilled pineapple and tropical fruit aromas, complemented with a flinty minerality, and toasty sur lie nuances. Hints of caramel, roasted nuts and vanilla add complexity and spice.
Palate: The entry has an expansive range of flavors with juicy lime, passionfruit, nectarine, and crème brulee. The mid palate has a velvety texture with toffee, clove and toasty oak flavors leading to sweet fruit on the finish.
Excellent with fresh-picked crab, chilled shrimp or seared pork tenderloin. Or enjoy it on its own on a warm summer evening.
